1/1/11

I find it funny and of course ironic that SyFy always has the Twilight Zone marathon on for New Years because isn't that where most of our resolutions go within days? ...to that place where it isn't quite black & white, but rather that grey area in the middle.  They are still fresh in our minds, yet find ourselves point where we cannot decide if they are worth our time and effort. The first "slip up" on what we resolved to or not to do causes us to question whether we really want to give this resolution a fighting chance.

This year I call what I resolve to do GOALS rather than resolutions.  They sound so much more lofty and more challenging to work towards.  What are my goals?  Drink more water, work on my Couch to 5K program, get out with the dog more, plant a garden THAT GROWS, start a photo website, maybe write that book I have had in my head for a while....yeah those sound more like goals than resolutions.  Who says "I resolve" to do something in their daily language anyway?!

Happy New Year and Good Luck with all YOUR goals!
